Deliver plumbing, heating, servicing and upgrade work on a variety of domestic, renovation and new build projects.
Role detailsPlumbing and Heating Engineer
About the role
As a Plumbing and Heating Engineer, you will generally work in the Penrith and Keswick area on a variety of domestic, renovation and new build projects, handling installation, maintenance and repair of heating systems, boilers and general plumbing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Install, maintain, and repair domestic heating systems and gas appliances
- Carry out bathroom installations, including all associated plumbing work
- Install and commission new heating systems and boilers
- Diagnose and repair faults on existing systems efficiently
- Conduct Gas Safety inspections and ensure compliance with current regulations
- Maintain accurate job records and material usage
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
- Provide clear and professional communication with customers
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salaried role (annual)
£37,440–£43,680 per year
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or Plumber
- Current Gas Safe registration
- Experience with boiler servicing, heating system installations, and bathroom fitting
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good general plumbing knowledge
- Full UK driving license (essential)
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team

The role includes all 1st and 2nd fix tasks, working across a range of projects generally in the Penrith and Keswick area.

We are looking for a skilled and qualified Joiner to join our team, working on a variety of projects throughout Cumbria such as: conversions, renovations, maintenance works, hotel refurbishments, installing roofs, kitchens, flooring.
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Hourly rate
£15.00–£17.00 per hour
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in joinery and carpentry work

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Foreman to join our team working on a wide range of projects with contract values circa £50k - £1 million, primarily in the Penrith, Carlisle and Keswick area.
The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and a hands-on approach, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. As a Working Foreman, you will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, guiding team members, and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a construction team to ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard
- Work closely with Contract Management to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards
- Manage tradespeople and subcontractors to maintain quality, compliance, and delivery of labour targets
- Participate in construction tasks as needed to support the team
- Attend client meetings, address queries, and develop ongoing project plans
- Order site materials and manage all site resources effectively
- Complete and maintain Health & Safety paperwork, ensuring site team adherence
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Hourly rate
£16.00–£19.00 per hour

General Operative
Actively support operations across our busy Cumbrian sites.
Role detailsGeneral Operative
About the role
We have an opportunity for a General Operative to join our team, actively supporting operations across our busy Cumbrian sites.
The ideal candidate will have Telehandler experience and a full driving licence; however, this is not essential.
Work will include, but is not limited to, a wide variety of manual tasks on our current and upcoming schemes such as moving materials, assisting various trades as necessary and helping to keep sites organised, neat and tidy.
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Hourly rate
£12.71–£15.50 per hour
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a construction or site environment is desirable.
- Telehandler experience and a full driving licence are advantageous.

Electrician
Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and testing across a range of projects throughout Cumbria.

About the role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our projects, ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with relevant electrical standards and regulations.
The role will include routine inspections, testing and wiring of heating systems and air source heat pumps, as well as identifying and resolving electrical issues. The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of workmanship, follow all health and safety procedures and complete accurate daily records of work carried out.
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salaried role (annual)

What we're looking for
- Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment

Play a key role in pricing projects, preparing tenders and supporting successful contract delivery.

About the role
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders across a range of construction projects. Working closely with our operational teams, you will review drawings and specifications, obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations, identify project costs and risks, and ensure tenders are prepared and submitted accurately and on time.
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salaried role (annual)
£40,000–£55,000 per year
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in construction estimating and cost management
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
