We were delighted to welcome Tim Farron MP back to Tor Place, Ambleside, as the development enters its final stages.
Having visited the site when construction began in November 2024, Tim was able to see the significant progress made and how the development has transformed.
Delivered in partnership with Home Group, the scheme will provide 22 affordable homes for local people, helping to meet the growing demand for affordable housing in Ambleside.
During the visit, Tim also planted the final trees in the development's Tiny Forest, marking another important milestone in creating a greener, more sustainable community for future residents.
With completion now in sight, we look forward to welcoming residents to their new homes and seeing the lasting positive impact the development will have on the local community. We would like to thank Tim for taking the time to visit and for supporting the delivery of much-needed affordable homes in the area.
