Chase Park and Paddock Row is a landmark affordable housing development in Penrith, delivered in partnership with The Riverside Group. The scheme provides 76 high-quality affordable homes, helping to address the growing demand for accessible housing across the Eden area.
The development offers a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes, with a range of tenures including shared ownership, rent-to-buy and affordable rent. Designed to meet the diverse needs of the local community, the scheme also includes adaptable and accessible homes, including a fully adapted property built to meet the specific requirements of a local family.
Sustainability was a key focus throughout the project. The development incorporates electric vehicle charging points, the planting of more than 500 trees and a range of energy-efficient measures to reduce both environmental impact and household running costs. Every home has been designed to achieve a water consumption target of just 100 litres per person per day—exceeding current Building Regulations standards—while enhanced insulation, improved airtightness, high-performance windows and efficient heating systems contribute to lower energy use and increased comfort for residents.
